Pressing/Application Instructions
DTF Transfer Pressing Instructions:
1. Pre-Press Garment: 280–320°F (135–160°C) for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture & wrinkles.
2. Place DTF TransferPosition the transfer film (print side down, film side up) on the fabric, cover with parchment paper, kraft paper, or a teflon sheet.
3. Press Settings Temperature: 290–320°F (143–160°C) Time: 10–15 seconds Pressure: Medium to Firm
4. Peel Hot Peel Immediately – Wait just 1–2 seconds after opening the press, then peel the film quickly and evenly.
5. Post Press (Optional but Recommended) Cover with parchment paper, kraft paper, or a teflon sheet and repress for 5–10 seconds to lock in durability and enhance the finish.
⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid:
Not pre-pressing the garment (traps moisture = bad adhesion) Not using enough pressure – leads to poor durability.
Skipping post-press – optional, but it can drastically improve longevity.
UV Cup Wrap Application Instructions:
Step 1: Prep Your Surface
Clean the cup thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or a glass cleaner with a lint-free cloth, make sure the surface is smooth and dust-free.
Step 2: Position the Wrap (white paper layer), leaving the design stuck to the clear transfer film.
Align the wrap to the cup. Start by pressing the center of the wrap and work outward to avoid bubbles.
Wrap it tightly around the cup, smoothing as you go.
Step 3: Press and Adhere
Use a squeegee or credit card to firmly press the design into the surface.
Apply pressure across the entire design to ensure even adhesion.
If needed, use heat gun or blow dryer on low for a few seconds to help the adhesive activate (especially on curved surfaces).
Step 4: Remove the Transfer Film Slowly peel off the clear transfer film starting from one corner.
Go slow and steady—if any part of the design lifts, press it back down and squeegee again.
Once removed, your design should be smooth and fully adhered!
💡 Tips:
Let the cup sit for 24 hours before washing for best results.
Hand-wash only — not dishwasher safe unless otherwise specified.
UV DTF is durable, but rough handling can cause wear over time.
